-Use recyclable materials- What can you make?
-Do some vegetable printing. (If you have no paint try yoghurt!)
-Making tracks- run different toy cars through paint to make tracks; walk different toy animals through paint to make tracks; add a marble/ ball to a tray and roll it in paint to make tracks.
-Use a large cardboard box- what will it become (a space ship? A boat? A bus?)
-Use different fabrics/ buttons- what patterns or pictures can you make?
-Use old magazines/ catalogues- what patterns or pictures can you make?
-Use blankets to make a den.
-Use old clothes for dressing up.
Sensory Play
-Explore dry pasta- Can you fill and empty? Can you thread (penne)?
-Explore rice- Can you fill and empty? Can you make patterns?
-Explore flour- What marks can you make?
-Explore cornflour- Gradually add water, what happens?
-Explore shaving foam- Can you make patterns? What marks can you make?
